Calculation of custom-made kitchen furniture price
Use this calculator to estimate the price of a custom-made kitchen furniture. The resulting prices are specific to quality kitchens, manufactured by brands like Kuxa, Ixina, Rovere, Nobilia.
The purpose of this form is not to calculate the exact price of a kitchen furniture, as this is impossible at this stage. However, the calculator will help you get a general idea of the cost of a custom-made kitchen.
The criteria that can significantly influence the price are: type of milling, the systems included in the furniture, the type of material (matte/ultra-matte/glossy), the height of wall cabinets, sides or visible parts of the furniture made of the same material as the fronts, the type of worktop (thermo, corian, hpc, composite).
The estimates are for an average configuration (Blum damped hinges, damped drawers, without other systems) with a heat-resistant worktop.

In addition to the aesthetic and functional aspects of the kitchen, it is also important to consider certain practical details that can significantly influence the use of the space. Here are some examples:
- Sink positioning: Make sure to leave enough space between the sink and the adjacent furniture, so that you can use the area without problems and without splashing the walls.
- Access to windows: If your kitchen has windows, check that the designed furniture does not block the opening or access to them.
- Furniture height: Consider your height and the height of your family members to set the optimal heights for the lower and upper cabinets. Cabinets that are too high can be difficult to access.
- Space for door opening: Leave enough space for the complete opening of the doors of the lower and upper cabinets without obstruction.
- Circulation in the kitchen: Make sure that the furniture does not block the main access routes or create too narrow spaces to move comfortably.
- Outlets and utilities: Plan the placement of the furniture so that you have easy access to power outlets, water or gas pipes after installation.
- Natural lighting: If possible, orient the work surface towards the source of natural light for optimal illumination.
- Ventilation: Consider the need for ventilation and the space required for the kitchen hood or other ventilation systems.
- Storage space: Carefully evaluate your storage needs and provide sufficient cabinets, drawers, and storage spaces in your design.
- Accessibility: If you have family members with special needs, consider adjusting heights and design for increased accessibility.
- Work flow: Organize the furniture in a logical way that facilitates an efficient workflow between the preparation, cooking, and cleaning areas.
- Corners and narrow spaces: Use custom furniture to make the most of the corners and narrow spaces in your kitchen.
- Opening systems: Choose easy-to-use and ergonomic opening systems for drawers and doors, such as handles or push-to-open mechanisms.
- Easy-to-maintain materials: Opt for materials that are resistant to stains, scratches, and moisture to facilitate cleaning and maintenance of the furniture.
- Task lighting: Integrate spotlights or LED strips under the wall cabinets to properly illuminate the work surface.
- Appliance space: Design dedicated spaces for integrated appliances, such as the oven, dishwasher, or refrigerator.
- Preparation areas: Allocate sufficient space for preparation activities, such as cutting vegetables or kneading dough.
- Interior organization: Include interior accessories such as drawer baskets, plate holders, or organization systems for a neat and tidy space.
- Don’t hesitate to consult a specialist in interior design or a kitchen furniture manufacturer to obtain an optimal space planning.
